India isn’t just building for itself anymore. We’re building for the world.

I felt so proud being at Bharat Buildcon a couple of weeks ago.

Not just because of the scale and ambition on display – but because of what it truly represented.

From steel and cement to ceramics and construction tech – the kind of innovation I saw here was world class.

There’s something powerful about watching your country put its strengths on display – not through words, but through action.

I met entrepreneurs from small towns, most of them without elite degrees or big city networks, who’ve built thriving businesses from scratch.

Their hunger, their confidence, their belief in themselves – it’s what I think we can call the true India story.

It’s spirit like this that allows and enables a small town called Morbi in Gujarat to compete with European brands in the ceramics trade.

Small Indian businesses competing with global giants. What a story that is!

Delegates from over 60 countries turned up to explore partnerships, witness our capabilities, and understand how India could support their growth journeys.

The businessman in me is thrilled to see how India is making the world its market.

The Indian in me is even more thrilled to see how the world is turning to us for solutions.

In a time when global trade dynamics are being reshaped – tariff wars, policy shifts, supply chain uncertainties – India’s confidence is perhaps just what we need.

Events like Buildcon allow India to develop deeper trade ties with more countries, and that is the right step forward.

And none of this would be possible without leadership that’s pushing for scale, for excellence, for opportunity.

My heartfelt admiration for Piyush Goyal ji – one of our most committed and dynamic ministers. The work he’s doing to empower entrepreneurs and strengthen India’s global trade is something I deeply respect.

To every entrepreneur I met at Buildcon – thank you for inspiring me. You’re not just building companies. You’re building a nation.

And from how I’m seeing things, I’ve never been more optimistic about India’s journey.

Vishal Acharya Vijay Aghara Jitendra Kathiriya Bharat Buildcon – well done to you and your teams 🚀
